PRINCIPALS
An OSU Construction Management graduate, Frank Narcomey founded Southwind in 1991 with the goal of establishing a general contracting firm recognized by both its peers and clients for professional excellence. A Native American and Seminole Nation tribal member, Frank secured SBA Section 8(a) program certification for the firm in 1997, allowing the firm to establish its qualifications in the federal marketplace. After graduating from the 8(a) program in 2006, the firm reorganized, adding key employees Bill Kemp and Renada Anderson as principals, providing the additional leadership necessary to carry the company forward as it expanded.
Frank Narcomey passed away in April 2019, but his legacy lives on in Southwind’s commitment to excellence and attention to detail. Today, Southwind sustains annual revenues of $35 million and maintains a staff of over 30 full-time employees. Southwind prides itself on its unique ability to handle complicated, high-profile design-build projects.
Renada Anderson
Renada Anderson joined the Southwind organization in 1995, became a principal in 2007 and today serves as the firm’s president. Renada has over 35 years of experience in all facets of construction finance and accounting. Renada leads the firm in developing key partnerships and establishing a positive rapport with clients, architects, engineers, key subcontractors and suppliers.
An Oklahoma native, Renada holds a Bachelor of Science in Business/Accounting from Southern Nazarene University. Before joining Southwind, Renada was a staff accountant at Peters & Chandler CPAs. She has served as an officer for the Society of American Military Engineers Oklahoma City and Wichita Mountain Posts and has participated in organizing committees for various regional conferences. Renada also serves as a recurring committee member for the Dale K. Graham Veterans Foundation’s Annual Golf Tournament, which is a key fundraising event for the organization.
